Last.fm is a social networking company music recommendation service which offers events, wiki-created artist profiles and discographies and community forums.

Internet radio stations programmed by comparing user data to the rest of the Last.fm user community are said to be offered. This data is submitted or “scrobbled” via more than 600 devices and media players.

Key Features:

•   User accounts – Access to all the main features may be enabled with the free user account, where registered users post in the Last.fm forums, besides also sending and receiving private messages.

•  Audioscrobbler plugin – a profile can be directly built from a user’s music played on their personal computer. For this purpose, users must download and install a plugin for their music player, which will automatically submit the artist and title of the song after either half the song or the first four minutes have played, whichever comes first.
