Whisper – Connect Quickly with People around you via Wifi or Bluetooth

Whisper is a cool service that lets you share your messages, pictures, sketches and even contacts quickly! It’s a relatively new local chat tool that has been developed for iPhone and iPod tough.

It can be used over Bluetooth or even WiFi, which allows you to chat with anyone near by! The amusing part is that it doesn’t require a server or even a cellular network to enable the chatting part! Bluetooth chatting is only supported on iPod Touch 2G, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS. Basically anyone near by can see your status, photograph, and screen name if they have Whisper running on your local network.
