Hahlo – Twitter interfaces for iPhones and ipad

Hahlo which was previously known as iTweetr sets apart from the other application as it was not meant to be an addon or an extension, in fact it was developed as an intuitive web interface for Twitter designed for iPhone and iPod Touch users. Hahlo, can be adapted as a ’standalone’ site on the Firefox sidebar.

The aim behind Hahlo was to include as much of the functionality available in twitter.com into Hahlo. You don’t need to worry about authenticity when using this product, because Hahlo has been using Twitter oAuth system for authentication,  which basically means you never have to provide your password directly to Hahlo.

Hahlo provides you with some customization options such as allowing you to edit your Twitter profile,  you can choose a specific start page such as mentions, direct messages or a combination of pages, choose a refresh time of 1 to 10 minutes and select how many tweets (from 10 to 200) show up in your timeline.

The tweeting and messaging features it provides consists of:

* Quickly switch between sending a tweet and sending a direct message – text and username are persevered
* Add or even removing geolocation data to tweets on a tweet-by-tweet basis
* Character counter

Other features include, allowing you to follow back your followers directly from the followers page or their user profile/timeline, you can also opt for the unfollow option. You can block and also unblock users from the list. You can further remove, create and also delete lists.
