ThinkingRock – Free To do List Cross Platform Software
Developed in 2005, ThinkingRock is a free cross-platform software program designed as a supplement to book Getting Things Done. The software has been written in Java hence, can be used on Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems.
ThinkingRock provides an easy interface to input thoughts (called Stuff in GTD) and process them into actions, projects and reference items.

Unlike other task management applications, this program helps you group your actions in projects and sub-projects. There are two views available to display your tasks: a project tree or a list of actions and auto-sequencing. The application used by more than 6,000 users release its enhanced version 3.1.2, containing all the latest functionality on June 2010.
The overview of this program includes stages such as Collect, Process and Organize, Review and Do; while the last three have been grouped together.
Thinking Rock is not another to-do list. It allows you to collect your thoughts; delegate the thinking process to someone else or scheduled for a particular date; plan projects into ordered list of actions and sub-projects; review all actions, projects and other information quickly and easily. In addition, these views can be easily modified by you to tailor your needs or simply take the information with you on paper or PDAs.
