Twellow – A Twitter App – Search Directory and Yellow Pages

A Twitter application called Twellow is a directory of public Twitter accounts that provides an easy approach to categorize and search features. Twellow is a new Twitter Directory launched by the folks at iEntry/WebProNews. Twellow is a directory for the twitter users in order to get organized into categories that bring all the twitter users of same interest, same occupation, same stream, and same specialization together.  This guide allows the twitter users to add their profile (twitter profile) into the categorized directory; additionally basic personal info, their web site and amount of followers are included.  All these Twitter users can now be ranked and placed into the categories based on the amount of followers, and their Twellow profiles are updated when the users update Twitter. While this intends to generates personal profile page for each and every Twellow user.

Initially go for registration. If you are registered users you are allowed to:

•    Update your Twellow profile and categories,
•    Add links to your other social media profiles,
•     Extended bio is being created that includes information and links you would like to add, and
•    Provides an easy way to follow other Twitter users right from Twellow!

To define a customized search a new integrated features are introduced with a set of operators and the operators with complete information how they are user is listed below:

•    &    -  Search for people matching ALL terms e.g. CEO & Kentucky
•    |     - Search for people matching ANY terms, e.g. Kentucky | KY
•    ” ”     - Search for people matching AN EXACT PHRASE by enclosing the phrase in QUOTES, e.g. “Lexington Kentucky”
•    -     - Search for people with a PHRASE EXCLUDED, e.g. Lexington -MA
•    ( )       Search for people matching GROUPS OF PHRASES, e.g. (NC | KY) Lexington
•    @     -  Search only in a SPECIFIC TWELLOW FIELD, e.g. @bio Kentucky
•    Combined     - Search operators can be COMBINED to produce more complex matching, e.g. (“New York City” | NYC | “united kingdom” | UK) (“web developer” | “web designer”)
