TweepSearch – Search Twitter Profiles through Keywords

The goal of this twitter application is to get a particular list of people whom you are searching for and this is explicitly done through search for keywords inside the bio of other Twitter users. In addition search process this tool is helpful in knowing whom you are following and allows you to follow/ unfollow/ block people within the search once you login through twitter.

Twitter Search only focuses on tweet content which allows Twitter users to keyword “search the profiles” of their followers. This application shows whether you are following searched group or not and more importantly here you can sort search by “last update” or “screen name.” and can also link to follower profiles from the search directly.

For the one who are trying out to query the TweepSearch database in a “programmatic fashion” the API is always there for you. This document includes:

Search Operators:

•    Phrase matching (“”).
•    Term exclusion (-).
•    Exact matches (+).
•    Boolean queries (OR).
•    Proximity Matches (~).
•    Wildcard Matches (*).

The output can be requested in XML as well as JSONformats.
For all your friends and/or followers or all profiles indexed you are allowed to make Queries that is for:

•    Search all profiles – http://api.tweepsearch.com/search.xml
•    Search a user’s friends and followers – http://api.tweepsearch.com/search/{username}.xml
