Osmo a personal information organizer for Linux. This personal organizer helps you in organizing personal information that includes the modules like: calendar, tasks manager and address book and provides a convenient way where user can perform nearly all operations using keyboard.  Osmo is GTK+ based tool which use plain XML database to store all personal data. that also Store contact names, personal and business information as well as view birthdays with a single click on the birthday’s button.

Osmo opens a 550×723-pixel window on your desktop with a toolbar at the top and tabs at the right for Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Options, and About.
So in order to install OSMO all you need to do is to follow the simple instructions:
1.    Open up your Add/Remove Software tool.
2.    Search for “osmo” (no quotes).
3.    Mark the results for installation.
4.    Click Apply.

Once OSMO is installed an executable menu entry in the Office sub-menu of the Applications menu. And
Finally click that entry and then OSMO main window will open for you.
